Reflection:
Last year, I found myself 61 metres below ground, in a mine, with only the light on my helmet to show the way. The tunnels were dark and scary and if I was not careful, I could have gotten lost. It would have been so foolish for me to turn off my light and assume that I could carry on the journey without it.
Yet, how often do I think I can carry on my life without God guiding and directing me? I can go for days in complete darkness without even thinking of checking in with God and then wonder why I can’t seem to find my way.  Â
Are you able to recognise when you’re walking in the dark?  Â
Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, Thank you for being the Way, the Truth and the Light. Please forgive us when we walk in darkness and steer us toward the light. Amen.  Â
