Reflection: My son *MUST* hold open the door for everyone entering the lift. Even if he can see someone in the distance, he will endeavour to keep it open for them. “Let it close,” I say to him exasperated. “But mum, then that person will miss out!” is his response. So, we wait until that person can join us and generally, they thank him. It made me think about evangelism. We have no idea who is going to be a Christian or not, and frankly that’s not up to us. We have no control over that, all that we can do is be an authentic witness and pray till our last dying breath
for our friends and family who do not believe in God.
Question: Are we holding that door open to allow that person the chance to search and seek?
Prayer: Lord please give us the strength to look for opportunities to share the gospel. Help us not shut the door to opportunities out of fear or rejection. Amen.
