Reflection: The other day I received a text on my phone. I was confused. Why was someone sending me a photo from the top of our macadamia tree? Upon investigation, I found that my son had taken my husband’s phone up to the top of the tree to take pictures of what he saw. It was amazing to see our house from a different perspective. Had my son not taken this photo, I’m pretty sure I would have never seen it. There have been times in my life when I have been in a trying season and I have felt like I am losing perspective of the bigger picture. God brings family and friends in that
moment, to remind me that this present circumstance is not the end result. Even though the problem hasn’t gone, I am given clarity and wisdom in that moment.
Question: When you are in a moment of fog, who can you turn to for godly wisdom?
Prayer: Lord, when it feels like we are losing our way, please give us a bigger picture perspective. Remind us that the victory is already yours. Amen.
