Reflection: Asaph remembers God’s creation. He sees God’s power over his creation shown in storms, wind, water, and the earth shaking.
Tim Keller wrote: “It’s the Spirit who enables us to say to ourselves – if someone as all powerful as that loves me like this, delights in me, has gone to infinite lengths to save me, says he will never let me go … this means joy and a lack of fear and self-consciousness.”*
Prayer: Father, thank you for reminding us each day of your creation, love, grace and power. Thank you for sustaining us when we struggle. Thank you for your tender care for us. Please help us to bring our cries, our questions, and our struggles to you. Please grow us by your Spirit, to be more like Jesus.
