The Message uses this language: “I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God.”

Pandanus : The process of weaving the pandanus leaves involves cutting,
stripping, drying, dyeing and then artistically weaving the strands into creative pieces.
Indigenous: The Indigenous people have been wounded and stripped of their worth, land, culture, language and identity. History has aligned Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people. God wants to restore and weave them into something stronger and beautiful, for a shared future together.
Joseph: Joseph was stripped of his clothing, hated, despised, condemned to die, falsely accused, sold into slavery, lost his family and forced to live in a foreign land. However, God helped him to choose a woven tapestry that was strengthened in
love and forgiveness and resulted in family restoration.
Questions: Have you felt like you have been stripped of something valuable in your life?
Prayer: Lord, I pray that you pick up the dry strands in my life and weave them together with other coloured strands to create a beautiful shared future together.
