Reflection: The Power of Faith  

In today’s devotional, we will be reflecting on the power of faith in God. Faith in God is what unveils the miraculous power of God in our lives. Faith is in how we trust God, even when we do not see him come through for a time.

In today’s Bible passage, we are reminded of what faith really is and how it is impossible for us to please God if we do not have faith in him.

Many a-times when our prayers get answered, we are excited and happy and that’s beautiful. However, it is very important to reflect on how we see God when we are in situations that look bigger than us.

The problems of life can get us to the point of thinking that God has abandoned us, but in Hebrews we are reminded that faith is believing God even when we think he has not acted yet.

If we want to please God as his children, we need to totally believe and have faith in him. We need to believe that he exists and has the power to do that which seems impossible.

Prayer:  Lord Jesus, always help us to have faith in you in all circumstances. We pray that your Holy Spirit will strengthen us to trust you whenever we are weak in faith, in Jesus’ name.
