Our world is at war. It may not be a world war – but it is a world at war. Right at this moment there are more than 50 armed conflicts happening throughout our world. The nearest of these is just hours away from life in comfortable, peaceful Australia by plane. But it’s sometimes even closer. There may not be armed conflict in the streets, but many individuals, homes and communities in our own land are ‘war torn’ and broken. Many don’t know peace with God or with those around them. Many of us feel anything but peace in our circumstances. It’s into this reality that God speaks.
