In this series, originally written in 2021, we read Scripture through the eyes of those who felt like foreigners and strangers. They can show us how they were able to trust and be used by God to extend his kingdom from the margins, often without significant power, authority, or influence. Through them, we can derive guidance, comfort and learn how embracing a minority status can deepen our spiritual walk.

Grace Lung is the Director of the Centre for Asian Christianity at the Brisbane School of Theology and the Next Generation Bi-cultural Program Co-ordinator at the Melbourne School of Theology. A PhD candidate at Fuller Theological Seminary, Grace specialises in training faith communities to navigate intercultural and intergenerational dynamics. In 2023, she and her husband Chris co-founded Rise Alliance Church in Brisbane, where they currently minister.
